case study
Karen works at Riccarton Clinic as a GP. She obtained her qualifications from the Glasgow University Medical School and gained her GP experience through a large number of diverse roles in Scotland - but also featuring Bangalore and Botswana. Initially Karen joined us as a locum for a six-month period but that was in September 2005 and happily she's with us still. We took care of Karen's supervision, allowing her to satisfy the New Zealand Medical Council's requirements for registration, and made sure that she was supported by a peer group.
"The work at Riccarton Clinic is a great balance between Accident and General Practice, the team are knowledgable and supportive and I love being able to go snowboarding mid-week"
