As an A&M facility we have to meet service standards that are higher than most normal GP practices and we are regularly assessed by auditors on behalf of ACC. For instance, all drop-in patients will be seen by a nurse to be assessed before seeing a doctor. We recently (2007) moved into a new building which provides purpose built facilities including ten standardised consulting rooms, an operating theatre, a resus/recovery room, a plaster room, three treatment rooms, two triage rooms and large waiting areas equipped with Sky TV.
