Dr Angus Chambers MBCHB, FRNZCGP, RNZCGP usually works at Riccarton Clinic on Mondays and Wednesday afternoon/evenings. Due to other work commitments he is generally not available at other times. Angus is the current Chair of Christchurch PHO.
Angus was born in the UK but moved to New Zealand when he was still a young child. He graduated from Otago University in 1987, after working in a variety of hospital roles he joined the team at Riccarton Clinic as a GP in 1993. Later he became a director in 2000 when he, Dr David Anderson and Dr Greshame Carr took the business over from Charlie Baycroft and Andrew Gin.
Angus is particularly interested are in minor surgery, wound control and medico-legal matters.
When not working he likes to spend time with his family but also enjoys music, landscaping and is passionate about conservation.
