Counsellor

Riccarton Clinic provides a room for the Brief Intervention Counselling (BIC) service. This service is funded by Christchurch Primary Health Organisation (PHO). Riccarton Clinic GPs can refer our own patients to this service, and the counsellors contact these referred patients directly to arrange the sessions.

On Site Specialists

The service is run by 3 counsellors, Becky Baichoo, Cath Finch and Jan Bensemann. They conduct extended mental health consultations at Riccarton Clinic on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings. If you access this service, there is no charge for these sessions and you can attend up to 5 sessions.
