Our flu clinics are open for 2026 as of Wednesday 1st of April
This year things are a little different for protecting you and your Tamariki against the Flu.
There are 1.2 million doses of influenza vaccines available in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2026 and there are 4 types of influenza vaccines
- INFLUVAC TETRA is the funded vaccine and approved for use in children and adults, aged from six months, if you or your Tamariki are not eligible for funding, this vaccine will be available to purchase
- FLUCELVAX is unfunded only, approved for use in children and adults, aged from six months
- FLUAD® is unfunded only, approved for use in adults aged 50 years or older.
- FLUZONE is unfunded only, approved for use in children and adults, aged from six months (please note, Riccarton Clinic will not be stocking this vaccine)
