If the results of your laboratory tests are normal, it is our policy NOT to routinely contact patients.
Our main method of communicating test results is via our patient portal Well NZ. Most results will be filed within 48 hours though some results may take longer.
For patients not on the patient portal, we will communicate abnormal results.
Abnormal results will be communicated, and patients may be asked to make an appointment to discuss these.
Hospital, Midwife and Specialist results are not routinely received by the GP team. Patients should contact the relevant specialist team.
If you wish to discuss hospital or specialist care, please make an appointment with your doctor.
